Why would you ever need to know how to convert beats per minute to a time interval ?
Well I use this table all the time when I am working on a recording and I don’t know what the BPM is , but I need to know to add in a drum beat or create a loop in the mix.
Here is what you do, try to find a reoccurring beat pattern in your recording, say a kick drum twice per bar or a HiHat on every beat. Then measure the time interval using your DAW , and look the interval up in the chart below to get BPM.
