Music Notebook – World Wildlife Sound Map “Sounds of the Forest”

I really like to use field recorded sounds in my music composition projects. Sounds of the Forest is a collection the sounds of woodlands and forests from all around the world, creating a growing sound map bringing together aural tones and textures from the world’s woodlands.

The sounds form an open source library, to be used by anyone to listen to and create from, so it can be a nice resource of wildlife field recordings. You may also contribute sounds to the sound map.
