After all of the hype regarding that log, it is nice to gain some perspective. Of course, cutting down a “mother tree” (Entangled Life by Merlin Sheldrake) is a fool’s paradise of our modern world, when you realize the necessity of maintaining the mycelium that allows us to exist on this planet.
